We have an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join a rapidly developing Chemical Manufacturing company, who are actively looking to grow their team.

As Operations Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and steering the business operations to meet customer expectation. To achieve this, consistent co-ordination between the Production, Customer Service, and Sales Teams, teams within the organisation is required.

As Operations Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • You will take responsibility of production paperwork.
  • Maintain good communication channels between departments.
  • Assist the Production Manager with demand forecasting and ordering of raw material.
  • Support with scheduling logistic over several site locations.
  • Support the Production team, by accurately evaluating production performance on a weekly basis.

The successful application will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience with supply chain management or inventory control ideally with participation in monthly stock level checks.
  • Good knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Have previous experience co-ordinating teams, ideally within a production environment.
  • Have a pro-active and structured approach to planning and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios.
  • Have excellent and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
  • An affinity to resolve problems both quickly and efficiently.

If successful you can expect a salary of up to £31,000 depending on the experience you can offer, along with a car allowance, pension and lots of ongoing training and development to help you progress.
