Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 per annum plus company car, Bonus and Pension

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Operation Director within the HV space. Our client is a leading Independent Connections Provider and specialises in designing and installing new and upgraded electricity connections to business, industry and commercial properties.

The role of Operations Director will be Hybrid working, with 2 days per week based in their Worcester office.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the company
  • Manage and optimise operational processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
  • Lead and motivate a team of operational staff

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational management role
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of working with or within DNOs/IDNO/ICPs preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strategic planning and implementation
  • Financial acumen and budget management
  • Risk assessment and mitigation
  • Project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant operational software

The role will require travel to client sites, therefore applicants must hold a valid Drivers License. If successful you can expect a salary between £85,000 and £95,000 depending on the experience you can offer, plus a company car, bonus and pension.
