We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join an established market leading business within the IT Services and Technology Industry in Birmingham and become a vital part of growing the Account Management team.
This role is a split of New Business Development Account Management, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for you to bring on, develop and mange your own accounts. The role will be hybrid working, with 1 day per week in their central Birmingham Office, and the rest-based form home or client meetings.
As Business Development / Account Manager day-to-day your role will entail:
- Nurture and develop opportunities within existing accounts to increase portfolio.
- Working closely with the Business Development Team, attending initial Client meetings to establish key relationships.
- Building new business pipeline within targeted sectors.
- Confident grasp Services to sell to clients both Face-to-Fface and over Teams Meetings.
- Take ownership for end-to-end delivery of opportunities within your clients.
To be considered for the Business Development / Account Manager position you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within the IT Services / Technology Sector.
- Solid client relationship management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to cross-sell and upsell services.
- A proven and successful track record within Sales.
If successful you can expect a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on the experience you can offer, along with on target earnings of £60,000 and lots of ongoing opportunities to progress your career.
