Senior National Account Manager

Location: Birmingham, Hybrid

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are looking for a dynamic Senior National Account Manager to join our client, a vibrant and successful nutrition and lifestyle brand within the FMCG industry.

This role is a hybrid role and will require you to be based in their South Birmingham offices 3 days per week.

As Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers. With your strong negotiation skills, experience in account management, and a strategic mindset, you will play an integral part in driving business growth.

As Senior National Account Manager you will be responsible for:

• Generating and utilising data-led insights to prioritise category, channel and customer opportunities and plans.
• Building effective growth strategies with customers
• End-to-end management of the P&L, forecasting and monitoring of performance
• Build compelling insight-led stories and commercial propositions that differentiate the brand with the customer and shopper.
• Sell and negotiate effectively to deliver solutions and results that work for both parties.
• Identify growth opportunities and build aligned solutions for mutual benefit.
• Take a leadership role within the UK Sales Team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate the team
• Demonstrate the ability to think on a 12 month to 3 year time-frame.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and generate insight
• A customer-centric approach to building and maintaining relationships
• Excellent selling, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs

If successful you can expect a salary of £55,000 to £65,000, depending on the experience you can bring to the table.
